We are delighted to see Epro mentioned in a recent news article from Health Tech News. The article highlights the positive impact of ambient voice technology (AVT) on patient experience for one of our customers, The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. The Christie, located in Manchester, is the largest single site cancer centre in Europe and the first in the UK to be accredited as a comprehensive cancer centre.
Building on the existing Epro solution, The Christie completed a phased roll out of the AVT technology. By using AVT to support clinical documentation, The Christie is helping patients receive their clinic letters on the same day as their appointments. In the news article, patient Ivan McKeever said that receiving his letter before leaving the clinic meant he could review the information while it was still fresh in his mind, feel reassured about his care, and clearly understand the next steps. It’s a powerful example of how AVT can make a meaningful difference to both the patient and the Trust, and Epro are extremely proud to be a part of that journey, delivering the benefits of the solution.
This is what meaningful healthcare innovation looks like: technology that supports clinicians and puts the patient first – which is Epro’s company ethos. It has been great to work with The Christie, we thank the trust for embracing the technology and we look forward to continuing to work together.
