Q- How would you describe your role in one sentence?
The interface between Epro and the client, translating what the client wants, and working with the client delivering the solution.
Q – What did you do before you joined Epro?
I was a Project Manager for System C for their PAS/EPR software and apps.
Q – What is the most unusual job you’ve ever had?
I apprenticed in a High Voltage Lab for a company in Swindon, where I was being employed to blow things up. The funniest job was to test vandal proof tape on ceramic insulators by throwing stones at them to see what damage I could do.
Q – What is your biggest achievement to date?
Probably bringing up 2 children to adulthood, helping them to get work in their chosen professions, and managing to keep my sanity in the process, (well mostly).
Q – If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
I’ve still got so many places that I would love to visit, I think it would probably be Cape Cod.
Q – What’s your favourite food and who cooks it?
I love all sorts of food, but will have to say Sunday Roasts cooked by my wife, (she would kill me otherwise).
Q – What do you like most about working for Epro?
I’ve only been here a little while, but have to say that the welcome has been amazing, the people working for Epro are brilliant. I’ve joined at a really exciting time in regards to product development, and I feel a real buzz around the company and with our existing clients.
Q – What do you do in your spare time?
Mainly DIY, gardening, taking care of my animals, (dogs, horses and chickens), but love riding my scooter, love music, and travelling in my camper van.
Q – Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?
Retired, hopefully next to the coast or on a small holding providing home to rescued animals.
Q – What was the first record you ever bought?
Funeral Pyre by The Jam
Q – What are you currently working on?
Voice pilot for NWAFT, Just getting to grips with what is going on at Portsmouth and Wye. In house I’m working with the team on getting ISO 27001, and looking through the PMO library to see if there is anything we can do to improve deployment.
Q – What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?
I used to play rugby so where do I start? On tour I can’t remember why, but ended up wearing a dress around Malaga for the day including riding on the ringo’s, which was pretty tame compared to a load of the other things we got up to, but those tales are for a drunken night out.
